Back to it all!
My two weeks off are over (but another week off looming!) and I am back at work this week, for two weeks. I've never had that feeling of dread in my stomach for a long time - but I had it this morning!
Italy was lovely but incredibly hot. It was pushing 40 degrees every day and our ice creams never stood a chance! Boy, what ice creams we had! T's favourite was Mister Nico, F's was a latte - no not coffee, a milky affair, M liked pistachio and coffee and I was pretty keen on Kinder! So much choice but so little time!
Annoyingly, I have come home with swimmers ear in both ears!
Only I could do this!
It is incredibly painful and due to swimming on holiday.
But I'm on ibuprofen regularly and have drops, which make me feel like I'm under water - ironically as I'm meant to keep them dry!
I have done no sewing of any sort but plan to get some done for friends Birthday presents - which are looming. I went into town straight from work tonight - what luxury! Usually I'm off collecting children from wherever but instead I went to Liberty's and John Lewis - oh and popped into Uni Qlo and bought myself a cream cardi and a sunflower yellow top - my bag resembled a large egg yolk!

Yay! You're back! So glad you had a fabulous time, despite your ear troubles (ouch!)I cannot WAIT to go at Christmas, yippee! (although possibly will be snowing so will avoid swimming pools and therefore swimmers ear...)x
Welcome back! You have been missed...it all sounds wonderful, I feel like I need another holiday now. Hope you are feeling better and can hear properly again. Thanks for hosting the cake tasting yesterday, I hope you enjoyed the rest of them! S X
