mama's gotta brand new bag!

Yesterday I came home to the parcel I have been longing for!!
My BTRS swap bag from the lovely Tracie D. I love the colours - green of course! The fabric is by Heather Bailey, who I have recently discovered but have yet to find an outlet in this country. Gorgeous fabrics, colours and prints!

And I especially love the removable crochet flower!

Thank you Tracie!

Blimey!
How come so much time has passed?
This week is an odd week as F+T have gone to the Isle of Wight with the school. Home is very quite without them! I feel like I've lost a limb!
There is no F. to play the piano every 5 mins, no bickering over the smallest of things and weirdly no school runs!
It all feels very odd.

But on another note - I am going into town straight from work tonight to meet M. at Gordons wine bar but with a stop off at Waterstones Piccadilly first!
So no doubt tomorrow I will be feeling very slightly off colour!

Bank holiday weekend we spent a day at Whitstable, lunch on the beach and big thoughts on living there!
sigh.
The evening was spent scouring their local newspaper and rightmove for a little holiday home,
but not yet, the housing market is not very stable right now. Who knows, I might get a bargain!

We also spent the whole day at Kew, which had lots going on for May Day from Morris dancers to watching people make wonderful things out of wood!

Also the bluebells were an amazing sight to see. A huge carpet of lilac (it's not blue in my eyes!)

Another amazing sight was Mr Peacock - what a show off! He was really prancing around with his tail on show. We stood watching for ages totally mesmerized by him.

So for now I'm willing for around 6pm on Friday to come soon, as I miss F+T so very much.
