WOW What weather!
We had family staying over the weekend and we took F+T on the London Eye on Sunday. A glorious day to be up so high with such blue skies.

On the sock front things have turned a corner or should I say heel? It was torture getting those socks on with 3 dpns still attached!!
I had help mostly from YouTube but particularly the lovely Sarah, who was very patient! I'm still getting the laddering where my corners are, Thank you Shelagh C for your help. I was thinking it could be the yarn I am using as it does seem to stretch a bit. Once I have put the dpn into the first stitch that loop seems to grow and I am careful to support it all but that is what is giving me the ladder!
You are right I am knitting the back needle!!
Seeing as I've got 'kind' of used to dpns I've started a Rosy Posy Tea Cosy. Bit trickier as this called for 5 dpns! However I cheated and switched to regular needles when I had a straight run to do and then went back onto dpns when needed!

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine - ok that only really applies if you are in London but whatever the weather you have!
I'm making 4 monks costumes today for F+T's play today, not only have I got to use velvet but I don't quite have enough fabric either. Also waiting for a Sainsburys delivery - who have just phoned to say they will be late as the van has broken down.
Hey Hum.

Monks in velevt?! so much for frugal living...
I'm wondering if some of the gapping could be just because you are knitting on the back needle, which would mean the wool has more distance to stretch over and therefore would be looser when turned the right side out.
Looking good though for a first attempt.
Love the tea cozy too.
I love the tea cosy your knitting. Hope the monks costumes went well, I miss the fun of making costumes as my daughter is a little too old to play dressing up and not old enough to be in school plays.
