I've become a knitting hermit!

I have finished the tank top and it just needs stitching together and my sock is up to the flap bit. Hopefully tonight's class I will get through and beyond!! But it is knitting up inside out! I'm not sure why or if it's a problem or if I knit backwards or something!!

Now that F+T have gone their separate ways (room wise) their old room has become a very nice space of my own. So I have finally set up a big work space looking out onto gardens but because I am so engrossed with knitting, sewing is further from my mind! I'm the sort of person who doesn't like too many things on the go at once, otherwise I get so hett up worrying which one to do then end up doing none!

I have promised F+T their own quilts for nearly a year now and have had the fabric ready and waiting since last summer. Yesterday I started F's. I'm going to base it on the 'Holiday Morning' from the Material Obsession book. I know your thinking 'that's a bit girlie' but honestly it's very F!

Hello, fellow English person.
As long as you are comfortable working the way you are it's fine. I have a friend who works on the "back" needle all the time whereas most of us work on the front needle. That means ours come out with the right side on the outside and hers with the right side on the inside. As long as you have the right side outside when you do the Kichener stitch (grafting of the toe) you should be fine.
